In 1984, "Ch. Jason of Kinnike" won his first (of four) National
Specialties, the others being in 1986,
1987, and 1990 (from the Veteran Dog Class).
Only one other pointer has won four
National Speciaties, that being "Ch. Vilmar's Lucky" between 1954 and 1957.
Ch Jason of Kinnike finished his championship at 9 months of age with multiple BOB's over specials and a Group 2nd. He won his first, of 7, BIS, at 14 months of age, his first National Specialty BOB, of 4, five months later. He went on to win over 70 Group 1st, including back-to-back Group 1st at Santa Barbara.
