"It was less fortunate that the excellent early imports (Pointers in Scandinavia) were followed by dogs which were either pure or part bred of the black Pape-Arkwright strain. The all blacks were
"Arkwright's Seasong",
"Diarmid" and "Lawn Sleeves".
"White Magic" was lemon and white, but her dame was an all white self coloured bitch of a creamy colour. I saw
"White Light" as she was offered to me, but I was unimpressed with her work and turned her down."
